This is going to be a week where you can feel as though you were living in Italy! Come savour this country’s joie de vivre right in the heart of Montreal. Head out for LaSalle Borough for the 15th edition of Italian Week from the 9th to the 17th of August. What’s in store for you? Fantastic cuisine, folklore, open air concerts and operas, fashion show, comedy nights, soccer and bocce tournaments, historical trips to Little Italy, exhibitions of Italian made cars and motorcycles and much more.

Here’s the programme of activities to be held in LaSalle Borough on Sunday, August 10 and Monday, August 11 at Ouellette Park - 1407 Serre Street at the corner of Robert Street.

Sunday, August 10 from 10h00 to 20h00

*Sports activities * Bocce tournament organised by the Falchi Seniors Club of LaSalle. * Shows, panini, pizza and beverages.

Monday, August 11 from 19h30 to 23h00.

* Fiat 500 car exhibition. Sports activities. Children’s soccer. * 19h30: Awarding of trophies. * 20h: Sbandieratori dei Borghi e Sestieri Fiorentini, Figline Valdarno, Toscane, Italie. * 20h30: Show featuring Mike Melino, singer * 21h30: Show featuring Johnny Capobianco, singer

This event will allow the Italian community to showcase their savoir-faire, share its values, accomplishments, and its culture in one of the cities that warmly welcomes large Italian populations in North America.

For this 15th edition of Italian Week, the theme is the Tuscany region. The gastronomy, regional sports, folkloric representations and other activities typical of this part of Italy will delight all Italians.
