Very strong winds that swept across Quebec on Sunday, December 28 made it the work of first responders and firemen very difficult. They received several emergency calls. Due to the weather, one of the tasks required was to reinforce and solidify the brick wall of a building located in 9425 LaSalle Boulevard. Strong gusts of wind coming from the shore and the scaffolding structures on-site compromised the safety of building residents and of pedestrians. Firemen worked relentlessly to secure the area and policemen from station 13 set up a security perimeter during the operation.
