Borough council highlights
Urban Advisory Committee
Former councillor Oksana Kaluzny questioned the role of the Urban Advisory Committee. "In the case of the six-plexes built at the corner of rue des Rapides and 43th Avenue, do you believe that this building is in harmony with its environment ? Isn't it actually out of place? There is also the home at the corner of rue Lacharité and LaSalle Blvd which looks like a crematorium. How do you accept such projects, which aren't at all in harmony with their environment? Are councillors being bought ?" Mayor Manon Barbe responded: "I understand your comment, but it's your point of view. If the constructions were accepted by the borough, it's because they are well integrated into their environment."
Congratulations
