Three CALAC Swimmers at the Quebec Games in Sept-Îles
The Quebec Games have a long and storied tradition of a premier sporting event. This summer, athletes from throughout the province will meet in Sept-Iles to compete in 18 disciplines, at the 43rd Quebec games.
Our region, Lac-St-Louis, has always prided itself in having a strong swim team for the event. The places on this team, 10 boys and 10 girls of 14 and under, are extremely hard to obtain.
The region held its trials at the CEGEP St-Laurent, on May 12th and 13th and we are proud to announce that three of our athletes have made the team. Caroline Zizian 13, Jeff Loewen 13 and Ryan Forsyth 14, will travel to the Côte-Nord region to represent not only our region but also our city team CALAC. We hope that they live a wonderfully enriching experience and create memories that they will cherish for a very long time.
