LCCHS Wolf Talk

The Juvenile Girls Touch Football squad won its 4th GMAA championship in the last 5 years beating Howard S. Billings 19-0 in the final. Quarterback Maxine Van Buren fed Steveena Alleyne and Cassandra Sosa-Fraser all game long to lead the Wolves to the victory. Congratulations and thanks to Level 5 graduates Daisy-Mae Van Buren, Melissa Hutt, Adie Saulters, Natasha Texeira and Vanessa McDermott for a great season.

Joe Brunetta won 6 medals including 2 gold at the GMAA Track and Field Championships along with Christina Laccone who won gold and a silver and qualified for the Provincial Championships.

LCCHS celebrated its 1st anniversary of being part of Peaceful Schools International by organizing a run to Orchard school and delivering messages of peace. Runners Shane Lemieux and Kyra Grant helped staff members Marc-Anthony Roache and Cynthia Shyngera organize the «Harmony Run».
