Adhika performing during the Montreal Reggae Festival.

Adhika's career is about to be launched! Born and raised in Montreal to an Indian family, the young woman founded her own production company, Prem United.

The LaSalle native is actually presenting a show tonight at Lion D'Or, in downtown Montreal. Accompanied by eight colleagues, Adhika will be presenting a show tracing the evolution of Bollywood.

"It's all been quite an experience and performing is something that I love to do," she explains. It's a wonderful opportunity for me to express my passion."

"As far back as I can remember dancing has always been a strong passion for me. At the moment, we're nine members performing on stage."

Bollywood

Bollywood is the equivalent of Hollywood for northern India. Bollywood is the film capital in that part of the country. During these performances, people will have the opportunity to discover the dance, the music and everything connected to Indian culture.

The show takes place on Sunday, August 12, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Lion D'Or, 1676 Ontario East. Admission is $15 and doors open at 6 p.m.
