Carolina Farinacci (Di Michele) passes away

Born in the Abruzzo region of Italy, on February 1, 1919, the mother of councillor Alvaro Farinacci passed away on August 13, at the age of 88 years and six months at the CHSLD de LaSalle. Carolina Di Michele was the well-loved wife of Genuino Farinacci.

She leaves in mourning her sons Alvaro (and former daughter-in-law Carol-Ann Finlayson) and John (Shandiz Godazgar), five grandchildren Jason (Rosaria), Liza, Veronique, Sonia and Adam, four great grandchildren Caterina, Lorenzo, Cristina and Antonia, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A religious ceremony took place on Saturday, August 18 at the Madre Dei Cristiani Church on Thierry Street in LaSalle. The burial took place at the Rideau Memorial Gardens Cemetary in D.D.O.

The family would like to thank all the staff of the Centre hospitalier longue durée of the LaSalle Hospital and particularly members of their family and their friends for their support and loyalty. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to the LaSalle Hospital Foundation in her memory.
