A Good Deal on Freshness
Seasonal market
Harvest time is back again, offering us a variety of fruits and vegetables with a thousand and one flavours. Mmmm… it's enough to awaken our taste buds ! LaSalle's merchants have foreseen our excitement and will all be getting together at one, single place to display their food — as fresh as it is affordable — at the first outdoor seasonal market.
A varied menu
Something for every taste at this food fair. On Saturday, September 22, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., in the yard of Centre d’éducation aux adultes Clément, come treat your sense of smell and taste to an extraordinary experience, savouring the wide variety of food spread out before your eyes—fruits and vegetables, bakery products and Indian specialties, flowers, products to sample and corn on the cob, cooking demonstrations and even an area reserved for tiny tots.
Economical and ecological
In addition to taking advantage of excellent quality for the price of all the food at the market, do a good turn for the environment by bringing back your old plastic grocery bags. The first 15 people will receive a reusable bag, compliments of IGA Beck. In addition, on buying a reusable, ecological bag, you will receive a $2 discount coupon as well as Air Miles reward miles, redeemable on your next visit to the IGA extra Beck.

Seasonal markets are an initiative of Nourrir Montréal—in partnership with the Comité de sécurité alimentaire de LaSalle—and its mission is to promote accessibility to fresh food.

Come do your grocery shopping outdoors, on Saturday, September 22, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., in the yard of Centre d’éducation aux adultes Clément, 9569 rue Milot. Accessible by 113 and 116 bus.

Partners: Frutta SI International, IGA extra Beck, Boulangerie-pâtisserie La Marchigiana, La ferme Omer Charbonneau et fils, Fleuriste Rosette, Les saisons en panier and Équiterre.
