Three suspicious fires in less than an hour

LaSalle Borough firemen were called to combat three fires that broke out, causes of which appear suspicious. The fires broke out in less than an hour in apartment buildings located on Airlie and Francoeur streets, between 3h and 4h on Monday morning, the 29th of October. Special investigators continue to investigate find out who perpetuated the three suspicious fires.

While the firemen were working on the first fire that started in an apartment building located at 9208 Airlie Street around 3h30, the fire station received another call concerning a second fire that broke out on the other side of the street. The fire, which spread out in the apartment building located at 9189 Airlie Street, started in the basement.

Twenty minutes later – about 3h55, foremen were once again called to fight a third fire of a suspicious nature which broke out in a building located at 9373 Francoeur Street. The flames started from the garbage bags that were piled up in the basement of the building.
