New responsibilities for LaSalle’s officials

Mayor Manon Barbe will be president of the Economic Development Corporation Office, co-president of the Table de concertation on Urban Security and member of the LaSalle Hospital Foundation.

Councillor Laura Palestini will act as substitute mayor in January, February, March and April. She will preside over the Urban Planning Advisory Committee and will be a member of the ad hoc committee on odours and smells, and of the LaSalle Hospital Foundation.

Councillor Vincenzo Cesari will be a member of the traffic committee, as well as be a member of two ad hoc committees: snow and speeding.

Councillor Richard Deschamps will be a member of the industrial committee on safety, as well as be a member of three ad hoc committees: speed, rationalisation and public transport.

Alvaro Farinacci will sit on the embellishment committee and will be a member of the industrial committee on safety. He will also be a member of two other ad hoc committees: public transport and odours and smells, and not to forget the preparatory committee for Council meetings.

Councillor Ross Blackhurst will still be responsible for sports, and will sit on the traffic committee. He will be a member of two ad hoc committees: snow and rationalisation, as well as be a member of the preparatory committee for Council meetings and of the Parc des Rapides Foundation.

Councillor Lise Zarac will be a member of the Henri-Lemieux Cultural and Community Centre Corporation, and also of the Table de concertation on social development and of the ad hoc committee on rationalisation. Ms Zarac will also be responsible for residents’ demands and requests.
