Latour Bridge work to resume in spring
As provided at the deadline, the reconstruction work for Latour Bridge has been suspended since Friday, December 21. This suspension will remain in effect during all of winter. The work will resume in spring 2008.
Half of the work for the eastern section of the bridge was completed on Saturday, December 15. Motorists going from north to south have already used this new lane.
For security reasons, access to LaSalle Hospital is via 43rd Avenue. Only emergency vehicles and delivery trucks can use the entrance that can be reached through Dollard Street (Champlain terrace). These instructions will remain in effect until the end of the reconstruction work which should be completed in the fall of 2008.
