2008 School Break
March Break will be in full swing, March 3-7 ! An avalanche of activities awaits youngsters. The Borough is announcing a whirlwind of pleasures, within a program overflowing with variety.
Skating and open hockey
The ice at Jacques-Lemaire arena is open to skaters every day ! For kids who like playing hockey, the rink has been reserved for them between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Open skating hours for everyone will be 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Weather permitting, outdoor skating rinks will be open. Phone 514-367-1000, extension 6819, before you head for the rink, though, to find out the conditions of the skating rink nearest you.
Open swim periods at the Aquadôme
The Aquadôme offers a tropical climate, at minimal cost, with an Accès-services LaSalle. From Monday to Friday, the recreational pool will be open 9 a.m. – 8:55 p.m., and with the slide, 10 a.m. – 7:55 p.m. Access to the 25-metre shallow pool 10 a.m. – 4:55 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 8:55 p.m., as well as to the deep-water pool, 11 a.m. – 4:55 p.m. 514-367-6460
Young Explorers for 7-12-year-olds
Young Explorers are offering free activities for 7-12-year-olds. At Leroux, Ménard and Ouellette park shelters, three leaders will be on hand, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., to welcome the youngsters. 514 367-6361
For 12-17-year-olds
* The Maison des jeunes will be open at Hayward park shelter every day, 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. I514-367-6430

* Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent is offering boxing lessons, for $2, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 p.m., and racquetball lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. 514-367-6361.
L’Octogone library
The library opens at 10 a.m. Opportunity to discover comic strips, magazines, novels, DVDs and CDs or take advantage of the computer lab.
