On April the 10th, we have our Election for the 2008-2009 Executive. At our Nomination meeting, everyone got in by acclamation. At this meeting, we will have the Installation of the new Executive and this will be done by The Past President from the Verdun Legion Ross Neil.

The Bands for the month of April will be the 4th –No Limit, 11th – Brad McFate, 18th – South of Forty and the 25th it’s a Private party. On the 26th Our Ladies Auxiliary will bring a busload of Veterans from St.Annes for the Annual Visit and they as usual will have a very enjoyable day.

Carol’s Kitchen will be open on Sunday the 13th for a Roast Beef Dinner and on the 27th for Roast Pork and if you don’t want Pork you can have Chicken. Carol has to know what to buy as soon as you read this column, get your tickets.

Keep in mind our ceremony for The Battle of the Atlantic will take place on May 4th at 2pm and our bus will leave the Branch at 1pm. Cribbage will be held each Sunday during April at 1pm. Our Friday Socials are open to the public.
