On Tuesday, April 22nd LaSalle will be host to the 2nd annual LaSalle Oldtimers Hockey Tournament at the Jacques Lemaire arena. Approximately 300 players and 20 teams will play to reach the championship finals on Sunday, April 27th.
The tournament organization was able to raise more than $22,000 at last year’s event, these funds went to several non-profit associations with close ties to the LaSalle community. The following associations were able to benefit from the monies raised: LaSalle Minor Hockey Association, LaSalle Hospital Foundation, South-West Special Olympics, Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and La Fondation Des Pompiers pour les grandes brules.
