Hank Palmer and Canadian team take 2nd place
LSU Alumni Invitation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
After three days of camp training in Louisiana, the Canadian Team A composed of LaSalle sprinter Hank Palmer and his teammates Anson Henry, Jared Connaughton and Brian Barnett, finished in second place at the LSU Alumni Invitation held in Baton Rouge in Louisiana at 39.25 seconds.
Our sprinters “rubbed elbows” with a few of the best American teams that form part of the prestigious NCAA. In the 100-meter sprint, Palmer achieved it in 10.40 seconds, beating three other excellent Canadian sprinters. This weekend, Canada will be participating in the Penn Relays competition in Philadelphia.
