We are in the 60th Anniversary year and this will be held with a Gala in the month of November more. I’m very glad everyone enjoyed the sound of the big band. Thanks to all those who came out to the big band dance.

Canada Day will be held on July 1st from 2:30pm to 8pm there will be plenty to eat and entertainment. One person I would like to thank is John from LaSalle Drive-In for his donation of hot-dogs. Get your tickets from the bar or contact Barbara Hastings who is the Chairperson of this event. Tickets are on sale for the Golf Tournament to be held at the Lafleur Golf Club on August the 16th. The cost is $60.00 this will include breakfast, golf and a steak dinner with music. If you would like to bring someone for dinner and dancing this will cost you $10.00. On August 7th, we will have our Blood Donor Clinic to be held at Carrefour Angrignon from 2pm to 8pm.

On behalf of the Branch Executive and membership I would like to offer my very deepest sympathy to the family of John Jamieson on his recent death. John was a Past President and a very hard worker for many years at our Branch. Also to the family of Manny Cohen who has been in St. Annes for the past few year he was a member for many years.
