McDonald's Awards Scholarship To Local Students
McDonald’s restaurants in de community of LaSalle is pleased to announce the recipients of the annual McDonald’s Employee Scholarship. At an awards ceremony help at the McDonald’s restaurant on Newman, Jean-François Gagnon, Samantha Sutton and Domenic Vaccaro, McDonald’s employees, were honoured for making a difference at work, at school, and in the community.
McDonald’s has always been committed to creating opportunities for our employees, said Michel Marchand franchisee. The McDonald’s Employee Scholarship Program is another way we celebrate the achievements of our valued employees for their outstanding accomplishments. Since the program began, more than 4,000 McDonald’s Scholarship awards totalling more than $2 million dollars.
The McDonald’s Employee Scholarship Program is another example of McDonald’s commitment to its employees. As one of the largest student employers in Canada, McDonald’s recognizes the important balance between school and part-time employment and through flexible scheduling practices, works to ensure that education remains a top priority for its students employees.
