Josée Troïlo
Josée Troïlo, candidate for Borough Councillor
A resident of LaSalle since 1976, Josée Troïlo will be running in the December 14 partial election to represent the Cecil P. Newman district. She will be a candidate for the <@Ri:>Union Montréal<@$p:> party led by Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay and LaSalle Borough Mayor Manon Barbe.
“In 1976, my father built his first house in LaSalle and I adored living there so my husband and I decided to build a house on the same street and start a family. I don’t need to highlight my sense of belonging to LaSalle Borough, because it’s on my hard drive (memory)! I am a professional and competent business woman and I would like to become a professional and competent Borough Councillor”.
Josée Troïlo is a member of the Board of Directors of LaSalle’s <@Ri:>Caisse populaire Desjardins<@$p:>, “because the economic potential of my Borough is close to my heart!” She is part of the Round Table discussions on urban safety “because a safe Borough for families is important to me.”
The candidate has organised several street festivals “during which I discovered the importance of neighbourhood relationships and that the participation of each resident can create solid unity in a community because only if we act together can we build a better life for ourselves. We can build a clean, safe and green environment in a Borough that will be capable of facing new economic challenges, that has an active vibrant cultural life which is accessible to everyone, and a Borough with a quality and ecologically-oriented public transportation system.”
