Two LaSalle residents in production of 'Grease'
Two LaSalle residents, Michael Mast and Tereza Paraschivescu were selected to play in the production of "Grease", who will be presented on October 19 and 20, at the D.B.Clark Theatre, at Concordia University.
Michael Mast took part in the Montreal Fringe Festival, in Great, Now I Have To Burn My Sheets. He filmed his first feature film, <@Ri>Photo Manipulation>@$p>, a Samuel Hain production, in association with Films South Bronx Entertainment, which should be released in 2008. He is also studying music and dance. In February of 2007, he was among 80 Canadian artists selected to appear in Triple Sensation, a new CBC series. Michael has dreams of working behind the scenes and with his production company, he is working on his first film.
Tereza Paraschivescu studied dance in after school classes and in high school. She's been in productions of Romeo and Juliette, S.O.S. terre en détresse and Tapis Rouge and many more. Hip-hop and contemporary dance are her main interests, as well as singing. Tereza is also a soloist with the group Mozaïk, a group composed of a dozen musicians from her cegep. This winter she will be teaching hip-hop to students at the Charles-LeMoyne and the Notre-Dame de la Garde schools.
