Walter Godzisz, candidate for School Board Election in Ward 4

Walter Godzisz sponsors a foster child in Uganda and is a teacher with 21 years of teaching experience. He was a member of the school council at MacDonald Cartier Memorial High School. He has a master degree in educational administration as well as bachelor’s degree in economics and education. He has certificates in management and teaching English as a second language.

He would like to increase the number of day-care spaces available to parents, increase the number of tutors in after school programs and increase after school sports programs for the students. Walter Godzisz would like to improve after-school homework assistance program, improve school menus and work on reducing the failure rate.

If elected, he promises to work with the other members of the educational community to ensure that the students receive the best possible education so that they will live happy, successful and prosperous lives.
