40 km/hr: Zero Tolerance For Offenders Now In Force!

The one-month tolerance required by the Ministère des Transports is now over and police officers will start to take harsh measures!

Signs, announcements in local newspapers, articles in electronic media and a letter from Ville de Montréal's police department are among the many ways and means used to publicize this new speed limit among all residents. Since the 40 km/hr limit has now been in force for one full month, offenders will no longer be tolerated.
