Vehicle in a spectacular fall off highway 20
About 2h15 on Friday morning, October 26, a driver who was suspected of drunk driving and speeding lost control of his vehicle while on highway 20 (going west) just above Angrignon Boulevard. The result? His vehicle went through the safety guide rail of the viaduct and fell, crashing on the parapet wall of highway 20. The driver extracted himself out of the rails but suffered a head injury. According to Le Journal de Montréal, the man tried to escape but he was captured by police and then sent to a hospital for treatment to his injuries. Called to the scene of the accident, firefighters of Montreal’s Fire Service Department provided assistance with an ambulance from Urgence Santé along with police officers of the Sûreté du Québec and the Police Service of the City of Montreal.
