$140,000 for two organizations

As part of its fundraising campaign, the CN Employees' and Pensioners' Community Fund held the third CN Hockey Legends Challenge. A team of CN employees played against former NHL stars, including Yvon Lambert and Stéphane Richer, and two Hockey Hall of Famers, Guy Lafleur and Marcel Dionne.

The match was held at the Maurice-Richard Arena on Sunday, November 18, 2007, in front of a packed house. VIP ticket holders had the chance to skate with their idols before the game.

The proceeds from this friendly match totalled $140,000 and were donated to two organizations: the Marie-Vincent Foundation and Dans la Rue.
