Come discover the various facets of being a policeman!
Police Week takes place this year from May 10 to 18 with the national theme, <@Li:>On the road, for life<@$p:>. The public is invited to discover the facets of being a policeman which will be held at the Angrignon Shopping Centre on Saturday, May 17 and on Sunday, May 18, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Some 20 kiosks will be set up on site which will feature interesting subjects such as: tactical squad practices (SWAT), cavalry, dog masters (canine patrol), bike patrols, electric police cars, as well as kiosks offering subjects on drug use, drunk driving, street gangs, water patrols, and taxing, to name a few. Urgence Santé and the Montreal Fire Department will be around, as well as social-community organisations like the Saving Station Foundation, CAVAC (crime victims’ assistance centre), LaSalle Boys and Girls Club, etc.
