Water quality in the pools, it’s every pool user’s business!
The borough of LaSalle is doing its utmost to guarantee the quality of the water at its 7 outdoor pools and its 9 waterplay facilities at all times. In August 2006, it adopted an action plan and a handbook of standards and procedures that are stricter than those proposed by the Québec government, thereby ensuring better control over the quality of the water in its pools. In order to optimize its chances of success, the Borough also needs the cooperation of ALL POOL USERS. To do so, they must read the hygiene rules to be followed when using the pool.
Every pool user must:
* take a shower before entering the pool each time, and after applying sunscreen.
* wipe babies and young children well before they enter the pool, using the toilet tissue from the tissue dispensers.
* make sure that babies always wear a leak-proof diaper (on sale at the entrance to the pool).
* not urinate or spit in the pool.
* make sure children understand and apply these hygiene measures.
