Another great day for the Children's Hospital Foundation

Sunday May 25th, brought out over 170 golfers to the 14th Annual Associazione Messinese Golf Tournament at the Belle Vue Golf Course, benefiting the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation. The tournament is also sending Jérémy, a little boy suffering from a rare cancer and his parents to Walt Disneyworld.

The organizing committee along with many volunteers, our sponsors and the leadership of our Honorary President, Tony Ruvo, President of Le Centre de reception Sorrento, our collaborators, the Tidan Hotel Group and CMS, helped raise $32,100 bringing the total to date to over $194,000.

The players were treated to a sweet stop serving Sicilian homemade fravioli and rancini along with fruits and drinks, a BBQ pit where volunteers served homemade Sicilian sausages and porchetta. The day was capped off with an award dinner at Le Centre de Réception Sorrento in LaSalle. The evening was emceed by Mose Persico from CTV and among the guests were Manon Barbe, Mayor of LaSalle, Richard Deschamps and Laura Palestini, City Councillors, Claude Dauphin, Mayor of Lachine, Valérie Frost from the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, Silvio Sicoli of the Tidan Group of Hotels and Yvan St-Hilaire, President of CMS and many sponsors and friends of the tournament.

The winners of the tournament were Sean O'Connor, Terry Lalonde and Dave Watson.
