Boulevard Newman: Road repairs
The Borough wishes to give you an update on the work being carried out along boulevard Newman (south side), between avenue Dollard and rue Thierry. The sidewalks are being rebuilt and should be completed by the end of July. Then the road repairs will be done next, and should start during the week of August 4, for a period of 6 weeks.

The road repairs will be carried out in two separate phases so as to reduce their impact on commercial activities: the first phase, between avenue Dollard and boulevard Shevchenko, for a period of 3 weeks. The crews will then move to the second phase, between boulevard Shevchenko and rue Thierry, for another 3-week period.
Obstructions and traffic
On the south side of boulevard Newman, access to homes and commercial establishments might be blocked for short periods of time. Traffic will be prohibited in the worksite area (south side of boulevard Newman); only local traffic will be allowed in order to access the commercial establishments.

Boulevard Newman will be open to traffic at all times, by means of temporary lanes running counter to traffic, which will be set up on the north side of the boulevard. One eastbound and two westbound lanes will be available to motorists all throughout the roadwork. Alternate routes will be suggested to motorists as well.
