Lise Zarac: Associate critic for Canadian Heritage

The new Member of Parliament for LaSalle-Émard, Mrs. Lise Zarac, was appointed associate critic for Canadian Heritage by the Leader of the Official Opposition at the House of Commons, the Hon. Stéphane Dion, who announced today the composition of his shadow cabinet.

«I am honoured by Mr. Dion’s trust in me, said Mrs. Zarac. I was quite proud of the support that the residents of LaSalle-Émard showed me by allowing me to represent them at the House of Commons. Mr. Dion has in turn showed me the same confidence by asking me to support Hedy Fry» continued Mrs. Zarac.

As associate critic, Mrs. Zarac will replace Mrs. Fry during the Question Period or in parliamentary committee meetings if the latter is unable to attend.
