Kevin Challenger completes his season with the Boston College Eagles
Former star receiver for the LaSalle Warriors
After excelling with the LaSalle Warriors Bantam and Midget, wide receiver, Kevin Challenger, continues his career with the Boston College Eagles. A native of LaSalle, he completed this season with 47 caught passes, for a total of 543 yards and five touchdowns.
Twenty-four year old Challenger, wears the number 84 on his Eagles jersey, a team, that's part of the Atlantic Coast Conference. This section groups the following teams: Wake Forest, Maryland, Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina State. The 5'8'' athlete, who weighs 178 lbs, had a two-touchdown game against Virginia Tech and also proved to be unstoppable against Clemson and Central Michigan's defensive lines.
After completing the season with 10 wins and 3 losses, the Eagles managed to emerge victorious at the 5th Meineke Car Care Bowl, with a 24-23 win against the Navy Midshipmen, in Charlotte, Carolina. Kevin caught two passes for a total of 35 yards.
After an impressive career with the LaSalle Warriors Bantam and Midget, Kevin made his mark with the Vanier College Cheetahs with 11 touchdowns and passes totalling 520 yards. In 2003, Kevin won a full scholarship to Boston College, which covers the costs of lodging, school supplies and fees. During his first year he didn't play, but the following year he took part in seven games and last season he really started being used to his full potential.
