Students are back from Easter break and gearing up for the final stretch of the year which will be broken up by students trips, sports and activities. The Level 5 students are currently visiting Europe and New York City and the Level 3 Washington trip and Level 2 Toronto trip will be following in early May.
The spring sports season is underway with the newly formed rugby team competing for the first time and the defending champion girls touch-football team looking to defend their title.
On March 7th, Erin Rolich and Kristine Iorio completed their personal project, a requisite for the IBO program. For the past several months, they have been working extremely hard on the preparations for the renovations in the teen room at the LaSalle Boys and Girls Club. With the help of all the participants and donations, they were able to raise $900. They would like to take the time to thank everyone who helped make their project a success.
Another success story was on March 14th when IBO student Michael Cudrasov received the honor of handing over a check to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation for $ 2,320. He has been working on this project since September 2006, and his Waikiki 2007 dance was a complete success, and he would like to thank everyone in the community who has helped him over the past 7 months.
